FAQ

Q. I don’t know if you accept my insurance. How do I find out what insurance you take?
A. Simple! Just give us a call. You can speak with an insurance specialist who can verify your coverage for your specific plan. Your specialist will also determine if you have any remaining deductible needing to be met, and if so, how much remains. You can know ahead of time exactly what your financial responsibility will be before you place your order.

Q. How will I know when it's time to reorder before I run completely out of supplies?
A. Our clients with Texas Medicaid and CHIP coverage receive their shipments every month. Your shipment will arrive around the same time every month. For commercial insurance and Medicare, your supplies must be ordered by you every three months. We will send you a reminder card so that you don't lose track of time and run out of supplies. When you get your reminder card, simply take a moment to check your stock and if needed, give us a call. We will begin work on your order that day! You will receive a handy refrigerator magnet with our phone number for your reference.

Q. I don't live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area; can I still get my supplies through you?
A. If you live anywhere in the state of Texas, we can have your supplies delivered to your home, work or other designated address. If you have Medicare or commercial insurance coverage, we can ship your supplies anywhere in the United States.

Q. I don't know when my prescription expires. How do I know how much longer I have before I need a new prescription?
A. Don't worry! We will keep track of your doctor's orders for you and request new orders when needed. If you change doctors, just make sure you let us know so that we can contact the correct physician with our request.

Q. I dropped my meter, and it doesn't seem to work now. What do I do?
A. If your meter is dropped or otherwise appears to be malfunctioning, perform a meter system check (refer to your operators manual) and perform the control test(s). If you cannot confirm that your meter is functioning as it should, turn the meter over and call the toll-free phone number to the manufacturer. The numbers are answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If the technician cannot confirm with you that your meter is functioning as it should, the manufacturer will replace your meter usually overnight if your call is placed early enough in the day.

Q. How can I keep from getting overloaded with supplies that I don't need?
A. If for some reason you find that your supplies are lasting longer than anticipated, maybe you aren't testing as frequently as your doctor has ordered. Simply give us a call and let us know that you are overstocked and we will note your account. However, it will be up to you to keep up with your stock of supplies and call us when you need to reorder.
